What does it look like?? Any pics??
Have you gotten the doll yet? When you do will you post your own pictures of the doll for us to see?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No pics, but it has a differant face mold. However they had about 10 differant facemolds when I was at marshalls last, including an asian. Some of them were very close to AGs.Quote:

I want to say that I've seen a doll like her at TJ Maxx. I saw some knock-off AGs there when I got my UGG boots, and she does look similar to them. But I cannot remember the brand.
I vote for Gotz. There's no way this doll head is AG, there weren't dolls made without neck marks, her eyes are NOT AG, and her eyebrows are too high.
The eyes are not AG, but I did see a Gotz doll on ebay a few weeks ago that looked like Kirsten, original AG mold, with blonde hair and super crystal-like bright blue eyes.
If you do ebay searches every so often for "Gotz" you'll come across the dolls they made prior to AG, with the same face mold.
Here's a Gotz doll that, while not the same as the AG mold, looks similar. You can tell her eyes are sort of the same, they're so ...fleck-ly, and bright and clear.
If you want confirmation that the doll is not an AG, send her with her head and her body to the ag hospital. They will not replace her head if it is an ag body. They will send her back with a note saying that she is not an ag. You will know for sure when you get her if she's an authentic ag or not.
What about sending a PM to Taffy he seems to really know about mismatched dolls. I bet he could help you !!
Maybe find his album... and look through
